In Honor of My Best Friend
Tomecka and I became best friends at the age of 9 yrs old... her life was ended, tragically due to domestic violence in 2013... Through our 30 years of friendship we did some amazing things, (and I also have some crazy fun stories to share). Tomecka was an entrepreneur as well as one of my biggest supporters! She truly wanted to see us all succeed! So in her honor, the AKLF Women-N-Business, along with sponsors, will award an annual business scholarship to a woman on a mission to improve her quality of life. My friend is greatly missed by her family, friends & the communities she served- we pray that this scholarship initiative will bring joy to many. #PainToPurpose
